Active Ingredients (Per Kg):
VECTA Amino-Fuel Nitro is a highly concentrated source of pure amino acids with added Arginine, Spinach & Beetroot powder providing Nitric Oxide (NO3) to enhance performance and endurance. VECTA recommends Amino-Fuel-Nitro to be applied over the feed or mixed with MCT Oil (Medium-Chain Triglycerides) pre-race for explosive results.
Amino-Fuel-Nitro is the most explosive vasodilator available in the industry today which acts to relax and widen blood vessels in the body to enable a greater transfer of oxygen and proteins to muscle fibers required for optimal performance.
Nitric Oxide for Sports Performance
Many scientific case studies have been published which have seen positive effects towards sports performance due to long-term supplementation of beetroot juice. Several studies have seen no effect when acute supplementation of beetroot juice is performed. Continuous supplementation as a loading process has been seen to display performance enhancing effects on equine athletes in acting as a vasodilator.
E.K. Birks from the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Pennsylvania states, “Reductions in pulmonary arterial pressures have been reported in horses at rest and during exercise”. Having a control which reduces arterial pressures during exercise is unique and effective, especially as its use does not breach the rules of racing.
Enhancing NO3 bioavailability by augmenting the Nitrite–NO3 pathway may influence muscle function and exercise performance. NO3 can modulate skeletal muscle function through its role in the regulation of blood flow, contractility, glucose and calcium homeostasis, and mitochondrial respiration and biogenesis.
