VECTA B-Vita Boost is a blood boosting supplement to optimise blood counts without breaching the Rules of Racing.

Why Use B-Vita Boost?

The requirement for B Complex Vitamins are in very high demand in all performance and working horses under the effect of stress. Animals under stress possess frequently depleted levels of B-Vitamins which can be aided by the supplementation of B-Complex Vitamins. Additionally B-Complex Vitamins are of value in recovery from parasitic burdens, injury, surgery and illness, and the much older equine animal.

At FEI competitions, FEI rules apply which state, “Specifically, any permitted medications that are injectable may not be administered whilst under FEI rules without an Equine Therapeutic Use Exemption (ETUE) Form 3 (formerly Med Form 3), which must be completed by a treating veterinarian and countersigned by the FEI Veterinary Delegate present at the event. This administration while under FEI rules may require oversight or stewarding by the FEI Veterinary Delegate or designee [1]. One of the general examples stated by the FEI rules are, “B-vitamins, amino acids and electrolytes. These have always been allowed orally and in many cases this is still the preferred route of administration” [1].
